Born with cerebral palsy, Nicolas Hamilton was told as a young child he’d spend his life reliant on a wheelchair. Not one to be told he can’t do things, Nicolas endured years of grueling, painful training so that by the age of 17 he could walk completely unaided. A huge achievement in itself, but he didn’t stop there—he began to realize his dream of becoming a professional racing driver.  

In a notoriously competitive and tough sport, Nicolas has faced uphill challenges head-on to compete with able-bodied drivers. As the first disabled person to compete in the British Touring Car Championship, Nicolas is a role model to future drivers, proving that physical limitations do not dictate your future. In addition to racing, Nicolas is focused on sharing his inspirational story and his belief that your ambition is limited only by your attitude.
