Brian Mosteller
Brian Mosteller – formerly the all-knowing eyes and ears of the President – takes you inside the West Wing to deliver inspiring yet relatable insights on succeeding in high-stakes environments.
Brian has had a front row seat to one of the significant historical eras of our lifetime – the presidency of Barack Obama – for whom he served during the entire eight-year administration. Described by the Washington Post as the “anticipator in chief” and the “unsung hero of the administration,” Brian was tasked with seamlessly orchestrating the behind-the-scenes details – both momentous and mundane – of the President’s daily work life, including the planning and implementation of White House functions, speeches, State visits and meetings.
In 2016, Brian made history of his own when he married his partner in a ceremony officiated by former Vice President Joe Biden. Their headline-making nuptial remains a prominent celebration of the Supreme Court’s 2015 marriage equality ruling. An important representation of the Obama administration’s staunch dedication to championing and advancing issues around diversity and equality, Brian offers firsthand insight on these critical issues.
From his vantage point working alongside the President for so many years, audiences will gain an intimate look at the high-pressure, day-to-day functions of the White House, and the ways the faced-paced environment compare to the productivity and agility that distinguish a successful business start-up. As Brian reveals rare firsthand perspective on 2008-2016, he also offers a prospective outlook on progress, influence and a country in transition. Brian’s personal insights and takeaways from inside the Oval Office will change your view on peak performance and problem solving that anyone can use to triumph in the most dynamic of settings.
