General Richard Myers provides battled-tested strategies for being an effective leader and shows organizations how to take charge during times of change to achieve mission critical objectives.
As the fifteenth Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Myers led America in the aftermath of 9/11 and the early stages of the war on terror. During his tenure under President George W. Bush, our nation's uniformed forces received international accolades for the massive domestic and global relief missions following Hurricane Katrina and 2004's Asian tsunami. Following his esteemed career in the military, he served as president of Kansas State University from 2016 - 2022.
As a leader who shaped national military preparedness as well as our commitments overseas, General Myers expertly assesses our role in the world and current foreign policy challenges. Drawing on a legacy of supreme leadership and a dedication to duty, he leaves audiences with strategies that help them achieve their goals during tough times and cultivate leaders who strive for excellence.
