Josh Sundquist

Paralympian skier, author and cancer survivor

Josh Sundquist is a Paralympian skier whose high-energy blend of humor and inspiration motivates audiences to adopt his ski-racing motto: 1MT1MT (One More Thing, One More Time).

As Josh shares, 1MT1MT helps elevate performance in sales, customer service, quality improvement, leadership, and much more in life.

The story of Josh losing his leg to cancer and rising to the challenge of ski racing in the Paralympics underscores the importance of being resilient during times of change, maintaining a sense of humor under stressful circumstances, and facing adversity with strength and courage.

Josh’s debut memoir, Just Don’t Fall (2009), serves as inspiration for the Apple TV+ hit series Best Foot Forward, for which he also serves as executive producer and writer. His most recent novel, Semi-Famous: A True Story of a Near Celebrity, was published in 2022.

As a keynote speaker, Josh studies your industry, your organizational culture and creates a customized keynote that reinforces your event's theme. Josh discusses strategies for reversing negative trends and rebounding from disappointment, as well as how to plan for the future with an expanded vision of what’s possible. His is a message that reminds us that even our smallest actions and decisions impact the world around us.
