02/19: TWLOHA and Jeff Johnson a Huge Hit at NACA!
February 19, 2010
Boston was the place to be last weekend, as the NACA (National Association of Campus Activities) Annual Conference took over the city for four days of great speakers–including two of Keppler’s brightest stars!
BET’s “Cousin Jeff,” the social activist, journalist, and political commentator Jeff Johnson was the hit of Lecture Showcase I. Challenging students to be genuine in their commitment to social change, he truly lived up to his billing as the “conscience voice” of his generation.
At the Keppler Speakers’ booth, Jamie Tworkowski, the founder of To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA), drew huge crowds of students who were embraced by Jamie, and who embrace his mission of helping all those who suffer from addiction, depression, and suicidal tendencies. The TWLOHA t-shirts were a hit, and Jamie’s presence in the booth left students inspired and ready to spread his message of hope.
Thank you to everyone who came to visit Keppler Speakers at NACA! Contact us for more information on the conference, Jeff Johnson, Jamie Tworkowski, and our full roster of amazing campus speakers.
